Lil Jon has decided to open a second school in Ghana. In October of 2017, The first school named Abomayaw D.A Kindergarten after his late mother was opened.
The Rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Smith, has raised $70.000 to open each school with Pencils of Promise a non-profit organization aimed at assisting with building schools and expanding educational opportunities in developing countries.
The second school will be in the village of Mafi Atitekpo called Mafi Atitekpo D.A Primary School. It began enrollment in July 2018 with 313 students in attendance.
“I’m all about helping the children,” the entertainer told CNN at the time. “Children are our future and every child deserves to have an environment where they can learn and flourish and gain knowledge”
