Fannie Lou Hamer: The Life & Times of a Civil Rights Leader & Women’s Rights Activist (Video)

Fannie Lou Hamer was a Women’s Right’s Activist and a large part of the Civil Rights Movement. During her life, she was the founder and member of several organizations that aimed to create an equal playing field for the black citizens in her home state of Mississippi but the entire country as well. She demonstrated courage, strength, intelligence, empathy, generosity,, and grace in a way that not many can. Thank you for this platform, and thank you for sharing her story here!
