NCAA Creates New Rule Requiring Agents To Have Bachelor’s Degree; Many Feel Rule Aimed At Labron James Agent Rich Paul (Video)

The NCAA has created a new rule that mandates all agents must have at least a Bachelor’s degree and be certified with the NBA players association for at least three straight years. 

New agents will also have to pass a background check and once that’s complete they will need to do a in-person exam at the NCAA’s offices in Indianapolis. The agents will need liability insurance as well.

Many players in the NBA including LeBron James is suggesting this new rule is aimed at James agent rich paul who also represents Draymond Green, Anthony Davis, Tristan Thompson, and Ben Simmons. Based on the new rule he would not be able to pursue new talent coming out of college becuase Paul does not have a degree.

Paul, who is one of James best friends also owns Klutch Sports Group, an agency based in Cleveland, Ohio that made the Forbes list for being one of the most valuable sports agencies last year.
