The Mis-Education of The Negro By Dr. Carter G. Woodson | Book of The Month

Dr. Carter G. Woodson was an Author, Journalist & Historian who founded the Association for the study of African American life and history. He was also one of the first scholars to focus on African American history and the creator of Black history month. This book was originally published in 1933.

The thesis of the book is that black people in this country are being culturally indoctrinated rather than taught in school. He claims that because of this, black people are dependent on the grater white society. A great read for anyone looking to get a better understanding of racism in America as it related to the education system.
